KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Group's subsidiary NCT Land Sdn Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Speedex Express Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd to provide comprehensive logistics solutions within NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP).​

According to Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy, group managing director of NCT Group, the partnership underlines the company's commitment to building a future-ready industrial ecosystem.​

"This partnership reflects our commitment to strengthens the park's operational backbone by providing end-to-end logistical capacity that our investors need to scale and compete.​

"With Phase 1 nearing completion and almost 100 per cent sold, the addition of Speedex to our partner network is timely as it enables NSIP to offer a complete and efficient logistics proposition that directly supports business growth and competitiveness," he said in a statement.​

As NSIP's first logistics partner, Speedex will support the industrial park with a full range of services, including sea, air, and land freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and inventory management.​

The park's strategic location near Port Klang and Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminals 1 and 2 is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency and industrial connectivity across the 730-hectare development.​

Speedex director Naresh Kumar Sundram said it is committed to delivering agile and dependable logistics solutions that complement NSIP's infrastructure through the partnership.​

"We view NSIP as a catalyst for a new era of industrial growth and will continue supporting its community of businesses with solutions that move in tandem with their ambitions," he added.​

Launched in 2023, NSIP is Malaysia's first managed industrial park and will be developed in five phases with a total gross development value (GDV) of RM7.9billion.​

The park offers a gated and guarded environment, extensive infrastructure, centralised management services, and smart, sustainable features designed to support investors and tenants throughout their operational journey.
