KUALA LUMPUR: NCT Group's property arm, NCT Land Sdn Bhd, has signed a strategic partnership with the Kuala Langat Municipal Council (MPKL) to drive investor interest and entrepreneurial activity at the NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP).
In a statement, NCT Group said the collaboration aims to attract high-value industries and empower local entrepreneurs, while also supporting infrastructure development and urban planning across Kuala Langat.
"Both parties are also committed to facilitating and coordinating infrastructure upgrades.
"This includes roads, drainage, street lighting, and public transport connectivity, supported by data-driven urban management tools and shared maintenance models to enhance long-term efficiency and sustainability," it said.
The collaboration was formalised during the Selangor International Business Summit2025.
Beyond the park, NCT Group said the collaboration extends to industrial master planning and redevelopment in alignment with the Kuala Langat Local Plan.
The company said this includes incorporating smart city features, digital infrastructure, and IoT systems, together with people-friendly amenities like parks, markets, and community halls.
Group executive director Datuk Joe Yap Fook Choy said the company's aim is to build a world-class hub that brings together advanced technologies, smart infrastructure, and seamless networks, serving as a launchpad for global enterprises while empowering local entrepreneurs to grow in a thriving environment.
Through its partnership with MPKL, Yap said the company is ensuring NSIP is aligned with both community aspirations and regulatory priorities.
"This will create an ecosystem that redefines industrial growth and creates long-term value for investors, businesses, and the people of Kuala Langat," he said.
