Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM), through TM One, and NCT Group of Companies have inked a new pact to roll out smart industrial park solutions nationwide, expanding on their landmark 2022 collaboration for the NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP) in Selangor.

The latest memorandum of collaboration (MoC), signed at the Smart City Expo Kuala Lumpur 2025, positions TM as the digital backbone of NCT’s developments, delivering high-speed connectivity, cloud and ICT services, and smart technologies such as Vision Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Operations Centres and intelligent building systems.

The partnership extends to NCT Innosphere in Kedah’s Delapan Special Border Economic Zone and the group’s corporate headquarters, with both companies set to co-develop go-to-market strategies to market NCT’s smart industrial parks as future-ready investment hubs for local and international players.

TM’s Group CEO Amar Huzaimi Md Deris said the move underscores TM’s ambition to be a digital powerhouse by 2030.

“We are not just providing connectivity, we are enabling fully integrated ecosystems that drive digitalisation, sustainability and industrial growth,” Amar Huzaimi added.

Meanwhile, NCT Group Founder and Group Managing Director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy stated that the latest partnership enables the group to scale the smart industrial parks model nationwide, supporting the country’s digital and low-carbon aspirations.

The MoC was formalised by NCT Group’s General Manager of Sales & Marketing Simon Chan and TM One’s Vice President for Enterprise Business Megawati Norhashim, witnessed by senior leaders from both organisations.

With this strengthened alliance, TM and NCT aim to turn Malaysia’s industrial parks into magnets for innovation-led enterprises, anchoring sustainable growth and boosting the country’s appeal as a global investment destination.
